These star deer are super sizes ...I love them !

Here I have used it as a tag on a small white box...

which could just hold homemade cookies ( but my box doesn't )

Well the week has been a different one with the sudden passing of  cousin and the flow on from such sad events.....

Today though I have decided to reflect on this in a different light....

&

 after a stupid night's sleep get back to making sense of my own world.

After the moving locations for me, which was just a month ago....and this, I think it is a sign ???

So ….. enjoy each day ….

Make them on fabric & stitch ...add ribbons/ tape /twine to hang...or perhaps peg them in a row on string ?

or

make them in felt....nice wool blend felt...( Marg Low Designs sells a decent stash of colours & quality)

That reminded me, thinking of a conversation the other day with using You Tube to learn … wow I thought long way ...we have come.

Then I had another think....

You know when a high profile designer arrives at your local quilt store, to do a class with ( usually her ) 

her designs & her unique way of pulling it all together....and you know you get instruction from the designer right in front of you....you can ask questions, make comments & generally enjoy the creative persons company.

Beats a you tube I would think...…

When I began we had so few designers...

one day designers ( Kindred Spirits ) arrived from USA & classes were offered & it was magic....just to be included in their world, surrounded by their delicious samples that we could actually touch...

Nothing has changed in respect to creative people who make the creative world sing in many ways...

Back again....I was going to launch into some profound words & the phone rang.
My car had new tyres & was balanced....
So I did my lovely walk once again...to collect.  
Took me about 10 minutes...& I pass by my family home...on this walk now. That means the walk to shops is about the same...
Country Living is pretty nice...

Yesterday a HUGE box of wood stock arrived & I was a bit overwhelmed as I unpacked it all.
We have now more supply of decorations and buttons that have been out of stock & some flower ones I haven't had in the collection for a while....love them.

Instead of chattering..time to put some things into the painting box....maybe after I do lunch and trim some of the roses at my door...they are abundant....

I hear the rumblings of thunder....

I had a roof issue hopefully all now mended....so it can rain !

Speaking of rain, early this week I was in Bendigo & returning ...on the open road just far enough out of town not to be able to pull over when the rain bucketed down....

I had 2 storms like this & well they are very tricky in small cars on country roads...

Now what have I to tell in the work world …

I was packaging an order to my French shop & as when I move nothing is where I think it might be LOL....

I had these rather lovely strong white bags...spent time looking for the thinner ones but thought just use these..for goodness sake....

So became something else as I began to fill the bags & seal them & some button trial colours lay next to me....
