Tomorrow.....the move begins !!!!

At last it feels like I am moving...

My car & my brother's car are packed with extras...to start off tomorrow in the sunshine....

Past the wheat pastures....

Canola in brilliant YELLOW....

Sheep.... chocolate ones too ..

Cows.....

Zac the Donkey & his mate Basil the sheep...

Past the rocky outcrops...

into the flat fields....

to my new home...back in Cohuna

I am excited as this time I am going back with a different feel...

some plans....

Before I pack away my buttons I thought I might design with something further....

I was sitting at the table & looking at them for day 2.

Here's what happened...

I love the newest trees that have been out for a while now....they came with the santas & snowman & stockings all motifed up...

I began to do a small Button & Stitch design...using the trees as the

border for the santa ...

Then as I illustrated in the border I thought do borders for each set of buttons

so they can be separate or together...

Together as A5 size & framed  

Separated & each set makes a great stocking cuff border..

Really must dash now...I'll put these up on web at some stage..today.....

The day has arrived....

I have closed off my side of work until after my move & unpacking about 6th Oct....2018

I am at that stage now where there are clothes... what I need to see me thru..

Cooking utensils..cups or 2 plate or 3 &pot and pan plus the cutlery drawer will go as is...

The cleaning gear sits waiting for a  better size box...plastic boxes I use for button bulk storage wait...for space to be found to pack...

The packaging things....will go down today & so it goes on & on...

I am not leaving the business still operates .....

Post of all orders have been sent..except for Hobbysew Belconnen ACT who are the representative shop in ACT for my work....

As you look below in the picture to see that I have an immense passion for what I create...

I love doing the cards as I get to make a story as I select at random what will go on this card...

Some of these have been sold..

.a new batch I popped up earlier this week & sent a newsletter...

If you order while I am away all will wait, & I do not process any payment over the internet....so nothing except the stock inventory file will alter.

So now I need to go & do some more packing & juggling & wait for my landlady & children to call to say goodbye today....a special time ..as they are friends...

I decided Grace would have my Beatrix Potter journal full of art work as this girl at 4 just loves being creative......

I was writing labels to tie & to stick on my belongings....

watching a rather emotional TV romance ...

A moment of life flashed by...

what is the moving all been about.....

Experience...

Learning....

Exploring ...

a life .....

I am ready to leave here now....

Bows have been tied

on another's life that begins here....

I wonder how it will feel...

as with all moves ....

even returning to a place....

it is new again.....

I am tempted to shut all the boxes of blank buttons into a carton...

&

free wheel it for the week...

But I might be bored ???

Yesterday I felt I was in control of this moving gig....

Today having the usual panic....

So thought I'd just sit a while.

I did email the news folk yesterday with a SALE which began late yesterday on several Santa & a snowman & trees ......

Before I paint these santas for many today I will post to the shop in Germany where UB Designs of cross stitch resides.... these buttons are for the latest book which the sample I have seen is again amazing different designs....my buttons are thrilled to be included !

This morning I have news from a Quebec customer telling me that she cross stitches from Ulrike's book with the everyday angel....

Handbeiten is Essen

Watch out for UB Designs in new year when a book with 3 of my lady stitchery designs have been converted & stitched in cross stitch...

I have seen one photograph & the transformation is amazing & very humbling & I feel very honoured.

I visited Factory & Field facebook page today via google search as I don't have an account in Facebook.

I saw another blog on a website which has done an amazing story of Jenni & her Factory & Field shop....it is lovely to read & see pictures...

Factory & Field will be very close soon.

Honestly it is worth a day out and sleep over if you need to ...just for the experience of the Chrsitmas shop....it is the BEST & I am not being biased...

Also go wander in Jenni's dreams she has made into a wonderful reality....

The days of packing are rediscovery sometimes...this frame being one of them...

I knew it was there in the back of the cupboard

I found the photos or the time I did experiment with different types of my designs... decorations... a mix of buttons & decorations... add tags...

Advent Calendars all simply quick, easy & so satisfying to do......

The Xmas Button Box Cards are an excellent way to use these...it doesn't have to be exactly the buttons I used ...or the layouts I use...but it I hope gives you a lift up to begin !!!

Now I shut off orders on 1 to 10th October..they are possible but my phone/ internet connection is going to take 5 days !!!! and I need to close boxes, put these things in boxes & get myself all packed to move...

It is a struggle & a juggle no matter how many times I have practised this...but I will say I am once again envigorated...  excited... ready to move...

Yesterday was an amazingly warm sunshine day ...

Loved the warmth it gave...

 I am still packing, organising services, walking in circles...

Painting for the French  & German stores I stock into...today ..yesterday & tomorrow...

I was so elated & excited yesterday when a dear friend & I caught up on phone... we used to have wonderful lunches & laughs at Maling Road when I lived in Melbourne...

I have been invited to have a stall at the OPEN GARDEN at MUSK ( near DAYLESFORD ).in last weekend in Nov......with my friend sewing  Santas and we'll see.

What a wonderful experience this will be & I as I pack up & then down will be pondering what to paint.....

 Some of these large deers I think ?

And these Santas look fairly  excited ...

 I have begun to pack after gathering myself to find a wonderful

unit back in my home town of Cohuna...

What fun it will be once the dust of moving upheaval settles

my feet sit under the table !

I will hope to shift all the cards I have done..saves me packing them..

I was working on these yesterday....

 they are going with 

Max & Louise

to a Christmas workshop in Melbourne region in October.

I had a selection of buttons & decorations in a box...

that were ready except for packaging....

Having a clean up last week & the weekend I came across a batch of "saved things "

Ah perfect answer ....

So I changed my presentations...

As I have mentioned before this new way or working is working for me...

There is more freedom to create

Be more individual in the presentation...

I hope it delights you too.

Of course now I am going to use all those wonderful big tags....& they will go on the website as will some of the envelopes....

they may present a posting challenge though....darn !

I will seek a solution after I gather some cello bags they will fit into.

White & Manilla & even kraft paper tags I have some in boxes...

so we'll just have some more fun.

I discovered my favourite Bendigo physio is in practice at 3D Physio & Pilates...

Most divine building they are in ....

Lovely to have some physio again, but yesterday it was a bit sore LOL...today I feel great.
